Marco Polo’s birthplace. The town of the same name, Korčula, is located in the eastern part of the island. The old part of the city with its architecture is reminiscent of a small open-air museum that attracts many visitors. The best way to get to Korčula is by driving from the port of Orebić, and the drive only takes about 15 minutes.
